Sandisk Introduces 32GB SDHC Chip
Remember when Sandisk cards were maybe 1GB and still that felt like a lot? Well, not these days, especially when you’re dealing with HD video which eats up a lot of memory. And so in response to this, Sandisk will be releasing a 32GB Ultra II SDHC card in April. The storage on this new card is phenomenal. It can store some 8,000 high resolution images or up to 40 hours of video. Not only will this be bigger, but also be faster than previous versions, with transfer rates of 15MB/sec. Now granted most of us simply don’t have the need for this kind of monster storage capacity and at $350 the price tag is equally as hefty, and so they’re also releasing 8GB and 16GB versions which you can find in stores, in March.
